Snapchat tips
Thousands of users still trust Snapchat as one of the social media platforms. To help you make the most of it, we are bringing to you Snapchat tips today.
In this article, we've made an effort to strike a mix between commonly used interface features and more obscure tips. From how to hide your geolocation to how to apply a background to a portion of your photo, we have it all.
As is typical in articles of this nature, it is likely that we overlooked some. Please read these Snapchat tips.
1. To change a video's speed, use the filters:
There are three filters on Snapchat that you may use to change the playback speed of a video, despite the fact that they are a little buried. To access the filters, you only need to slide your finger from left to right on the screen.
The video moves more slowly when the turtle-icon filter is used.
The video plays more quickly when the hare-icon filter is used.
The video reverses when the filter is applied and the icon of the three triangles facing backwards is used.
2. Adapt to the new interface: If you haven't used Snapchat in a while, you may need to first get used to some of the changes that have been made as a result of its most recent UI overhaul. However, the adjustments weren't as significant as you would have thought, so don't worry either.
The app will launch right into camera mode so you may record a movie or take a picture. If you slide to the right screen, you will see a selection of the featured material with a search engine, and if you slide to the left screen, you will travel to the friends section, formerly known as conversations.
3. To share webpages, create snapcodes.
These Snapchat tips is useful
Snapcodes are a special type of QR code that you can create with Snapchat and have other Snapchat users scan. When you are physically present with your friends, they are typically used to rapidly share your profile with them, but you can also make codes that refer to specific web pages to share your favourites without having to say the URLs out loud.
Click on your user's symbol on the home screen.
To access the settings once in your profile, click the gear symbol in the top right corner.
Click the Snapcodes option once you're in the settings.
Next, select Create Snapcode.
4. Turn on ghost mode: If you haven't paid close attention to the permissions and settings that Snapchat asks you to choose when you first use it, it's conceivable that you've set it up to geolocate you so that you can apply geographic filters or so that other people can see you on a map. But you may turn on the 'Ghost Mode' to make yourself invisible if you don't want other people to see you on the map.
Pinch the screen inward while in the capture photo mode.
You'll switch to map mode. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of it to access the options menu.
Ghost Mode will be the first choice to appear, so you only need to choose that.
